English Language Test Certificate not required at the time of application submission
The Department of Employment and Human Resources (DoEHR) Ministry of Labour and Human Resources (MoLHR) would like to inform all interested and eligible Bhutanese under the purview of MoLHR that online applications for Australia Awards Scholarships, for study commencing in January 2022, are now open and will close on 30 April 2021. These Scholarships are for study at masters level in Australia.

The Human Resources and Skills Development Division (HRSDD), DoEHR will verify the eligibility of applicant and issue nomination letter. Therefore, eligible candidates are required to submit a copy of academic transcripts, dully filled In-service HRD form along with other documents mentioned in the In-Service HRD form to theHRSDD, DoEHR, MoLHR latest by April 28, 2021. As English language test centres are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Australia Awards has made the following adjustments to the English language requirement. Applications will be accepted without an English language proficiency test result for eligibility purposes. However, in the event the applicant is shortlisted or selected for a Scholarship, the applicant will be required to take an English language test and submit the notarised copy of the test result to Australia Awards – Bhutan office.
